Hello, my name is Jay Lepore and I'm the owner of CompuMatter.

CompuMatter is a small business with a large agenda

We have had a bricks and mortar building on the main drag in Anacortes, WA for the past 18 years. As with any small business in a small town there's been many trials and errors along the way. However each month and year that passes we refine our processes, procedures and get a little closer to our goals as we check off a few goals behind us.

The long term vision for me is simple, and I am resolute. We intend to make CompuMatter a household name that inserts branded neighborhood sized stores around the world. The brand image revolves around a single phrase - All Things Computer. Our existing store and the stores that follow will offer expertise in Windows, Apple, Linux, Servers, Website Design and Hosting, Training, Sales of Computers and accessories and more. Nobody else covers it so completely.

This hasn't been done yet. There is no global brand of computer store. We understand why. Given all the devices, operating systems, servers, programming languages, website technology and more it's a wide swath for any one company to get their head around. However I've been in the computer business for 40+ years and I've spent most of that time being a constant study of all of these areas. I'm confident this wide experience puts me on a short list of people who are a best fit for an ambitious effort like this one.  I don't profess to be an expert above all in any one area.  However the wide body of technology exposures coupled with reasonable expertise is what this project needs most. Each new employee we plugin to this effort increases the breadth of our expertise.

We intend to try our best to do this without a public stock offering. There's a reason for that. It is my lifelong ambition to make a difference in the lives of animals and the environment that sustains them the world over. I would like to take the profits that come from a success story on the worldwide scale I've described and put those dollars towards those things. If we were to go public, our funds would be prioritized to line the pockets of those investors and only a small fraction would go to the cause. Staying private insures we are always in control of what CompuMatter's priorities are.

Though we know not everyone shares our vision for these things, for those that do, knowing you are part of that vision will make it a much more rewarding experience.

We have been working on a variety of website plugins website development industry. We have also been working on a unique small business server solution for businesses the world over. Both of these R & D projects have 'live' customers that have purchased these products and are using them every day. However we have pulled back to refine them further before launching them worldwide. It is our expectation when these products are offered for sale, this will be the beginning of the funding we need to fuel the rocket we intend to be.

In the meantime, we have to live within our means. That means month to month. Sometimes better and sometimes worse. We service our customers one at a time and try each week to make ourselves a little better at what we do.

That is who we are, what we are up to and most importantly - where we hope to go.
