If you are a Windows user the file will be named compumatter-support…
If you are an Apple user the file will be named splashtop-apple.dmg
Double click on it to open and run that program
You will be shown an ID – please inform your CompuMatter technician of that ID
How You Are Charged
You are only charged while talking to a technician. If you can download the file above and install it on your own, you avoid any fees for added support. However less tech savvy users often require 10 – 15 minutes just to get this software downloaded and running. In those cases we must include that added time as tech support time.
The rates for the majority of remote technical support needs is a minimum of 62.50 (1/2 hour) but otherwise billed at the rate of 125.00 per hour ongoing.
The rates for high level technical support (Servers, Business Networking etc) are typically 150.00 with a 1 hour minimum (unless your company has a support contract)
